Your Voice Matters! Unique Opportunity in Chile

Marri marri kom pu che,

Images for Inclusion Inc is honored to share news of vital importance for Indigenous Peoples, especially the Mapuche People. Gina Romero, the UN Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association, will visit Chile from July 14 to 23, 2025, and will be in Temuco on July 18 and 19!

This is a crucial opportunity for our voices to be heard directly in the international arena. The Special Rapporteur is mandated to gather information, make recommendations, and report violations of our rights to assembly and association.

Although the official call for written submissions has closed, there is still an urgent window next week to send information via email, which will be processed before her arrival. Furthermore, we will soon announce details for in-person participation in Temuco.

Your testimony is fundamental. This is the time to make visible the challenges and good practices that impact our civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights. The information you share will be confidential and key to the Rapporteur's report.

Do not let this opportunity pass! Your participation can generate significant change.
